The
model was then coated in clay, finished by the sculptor and a full
size silicone mold taken from that positive. The picture here shows
the styrofoam camel which has already been created by the laser
process. The workman is spraying the initial coating of clay on
the newly laser cut sculpture.
Once the clay coating was applied, Rosetta spent another eight
days completing the sculpture in all of its exact detail, making
certain that the spirit of the original sculpture shines through
on the laser cut enlargement. The picture here shows Rosetta mid-way
through that process. |
